As a new client of our practice in Madison, you can expect our full attention to your pets’ needs and your concerns.
When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, we will check in your pet and invite you into an examination room. If you are visiting for a technician appointment, one of our technicians will greet you and your pet and chat with you about your visit before treating your pet.

Once you are in the exam room, in most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet’s medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering information for the doctor.

Then, one of our veterinarians will examine your pet, ask you further questions and may recommend diagnostic tests if needed. Once the tests have been run, which can usually be done in our clinic, your doctor will discuss a possible diagnosis and treatment plan.

This is a great time to ask questions. Our veterinary team wants to make sure you are completely comfortable with the information we are providing.

Our veterinary technician will finish the appointment with you and will provide you with helpful pet care information, any estimates for further treatment recommended by your veterinarian, and answer wellness and care questions for you. You will be able to process your payment and schedule any future appointments in the exam room with the technician.
Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times when the unexpected will create delays. We know you would want us to treat your pet with priority in these situations and appreciate your understanding should this occur. We do our best to ensure these events are minimized as much as possible.
